Description

[Precautions for use] ・It is fragile. Handle with care. ・Never use for frying, sautéing, or any oily dishes. There is a risk of fire. ・Never heat it empty. ・Do not touch the pot with bare hands while it is being heated or when it is hot. Also, be cautious when using pot holders or mitts, as the pot can be slippery. ・Always use a trivet or pot holder when placing the clay pot on tables or surfaces to prevent any damage. ・Do not cool a hot clay pot suddenly. This could cause it to crack. ・Do not put the pot on the fire if the bottom is wet. ・Do not leave it immersed in water for a long time. ・After use, wash it thoroughly with water and make sure it is dry before storing. ・It is normal for moisture to seep out from the bottom of the pot. ・Over time, small cracks [known as (kannyuu) in Japanese] may appear. In such cases, cook porridge or boil in water mixed with about two cups of flour. These tiny cracks add character to your pot, making it even more special and treasured.
