Description
This Walker Products Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor assembly measures the amount of air entering your engine by weight, converting this data into changing voltages or frequencies that are sent to the onboard computer. The computer uses this information, along with other inputs, to precisely calculate the correct amount of fuel delivery, ensuring optimal engine performance. Symptoms of a failing MAF sensor can include poor starting, engine surging, stalling, illuminated check engine light, or a no-start condition. These sensors are non-serviceable and must be replaced when non-functional.
