Traditional soundproofing caulk can harden and crack after drying, causing their sound insulation effectiveness to diminish over time. Our WANJAO soundproofing sealant works by blocking the path of sound transmission through tiny gaps in the air. Acoustic caulk for soundproofing acts like a permanent, soft, and airtight barrier, locking in noise and creating a more private and peaceful living or working environment for you and your family. Instructions for Use 1. Ensure the surface to be treated is clean and dry. For porous surfaces, pretreatment is recommended. 2. Cut the tip of the nozzle to the desired size. 3. Hold the nozzle at approximately a 45-degree angle to the gap and apply the sealant smoothly and evenly, filling the gap completely. For deeper gaps, it is recommended to fill in two layers. 4. Before the sealant is surface dry (usually within 10-15 minutes), smooth the surface with a scraper and immediately remove any excess. 5. A thin film will form on the surface of the sealant within approximately 1 hour. Complete internal curing time depends on the depth of the gap and the ambient temperature and humidity, typically requiring 24-72 hours. Avoid touching or spraying water during this period. Precautions: 1. During application: Ensure good ventilation. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with water. Do not use on damp or frozen surfaces. 2. Storage: Unused sealant should be stored in a cool, dry place with the tube tightly closed. 3. Important Note: This product is primarily used to seal gaps that transmit noise through the air. To effectively isolate impact sounds or significantly reduce overall noise levels, it needs to be used in conjunction with other sound insulation materials (such as sound insulation cotton, vibration damping pads, etc.) and structural modifications.
