The R8 is an all-new radar and laser detector platform offering unsurpassed range and sensitivity. Its dual antennas detect threats from all four directions, providing voice alerts for the direction of the threat, along with band and signal strength indication. GPS technology with auto mute memory allows the R8 to remember and automatically mute false alerts along your routes. It also provides alerts for preloaded Red Light and Speed Camera locations with free database and firmware updates. The large multi-color OLED display enhances situational awareness by showing more information at once. Voice alerts are programmable for hands-free operation.
