KNOW IT FITS – Built for Yamaha outboards with 4-1/4 in center-to-center trim rod spacing. Measure before ordering instead of relying only on model, year, horsepower, or stroke type, helping you choose the correct transom saver for your setup. SUPPORT THE RIDE – The one-piece aluminum support mounts over the trim rods to help steady the motor and power trim system during trailer transport. Its skeleton form distributes motor load across the boat structure without a long bar extending to the trailer. CONTROL SIDE SWAY – Install the two included rubber steering locks over the exposed hydraulic steering rods to help keep the outboard facing forward and limit side-to-side movement during trailering. PACKED TOGETHER – The kit includes the aluminum support, 3 rubber bushings, 2 steering locks, 2 double-braided polyester ropes, 2 M6 x 12 screw, and a black 20 x 30 cm drawstring bag. CLEAR ROUTINE – Raise the outboard, place the support over the trim rods, lower it slowly onto the square rubber bushing, and install both steering locks. Inspect the setup before towing, then remove the support and locks before launching or operating the boat.
