• These are real "hand forged nails". These are forged, heated to a high temperature and then hammered out into place. They have 4 sides and the nail heads are hammered into a head at one end to make the head. They are all one piece design, (not welded together) or machined like today's hardware and nails. The bodies are larger on the nail head end and are hammered down to make the opposite end smaller to a pointed end. They are approx 1/4" square in the nail centers. These are well made and solid iron material. These will certainly be used for a very special cause for many years to come
