This KNIPEX wire stripper cuts 6-32 and 8-32 screws without threading and strips 20 to 10 AWG solid and stranded wire. Locating ridges allow for easy identification of stripping holes, while an integrated opening spring enhances ease of frequent cutting. Shear cutting blades provide superior cutting capacity and reduced cutting power compared to competitors. It also cuts cable, wires, NM-B, BX, and MC, features wide gripping jaws for twisting wires, and includes a wire looping groove for screw attachment. Meets ASTM F1505 requirements, with induction-hardened blades, screw shear, and conduit reaming for burr removal. Constructed from high-grade, forged, multi-stage oil-hardened special tool steel.
