Description
Upgrade the ignition system of your applicable Chevy Inline-6 with this HEI ignition distributor. Designed for Chevy 230, 250, and 292 6-cylinder applications, this distributor features a 65,000-volt ignition coil, high-output ignition module, centrifugal advance components, and an adjustable vacuum advance canister. The distributor uses a cast-aluminum housing with a polished finish, mainshaft assembly, bushings, and a hardened steel drive gear. The package also includes 6 red spark plug wires for the inline-6 ignition setup. Before ordering, please verify your engine application, original distributor part number, distributor gear configuration, shaft specifications, and electrical connections. Wire lengths should also be compared with your original wires to ensure they are suitable for your installation. Important: This distributor is intended for applicable carbureted applications and is not compatible with fuel-injected systems. Please do not modify or interchange the distributor gear unless compatibility has been confirmed.
