Important Notes: Temperature details: The heating surface operates between 149–204°C (300–400°F). Please avoid handling the unit if it exceeds 65°C (150°F). Key Usage & Care Guidelines: 1.Use only on clean, magnet-compatible surfaces (clear of dirt/grease/oil) and indoors. 2.Place the heater on the lowest flat area of the oil pan (follow permanent installation steps below if needed). 3.Disconnect the heater before using the vehicle (unless permanently mounted). 4.Do not touch hot parts; keep away from plastics/painted surfaces to prevent damage. 5.Use a grounded electrical outlet—do not use a two-prong adapter. 6.Do not submerge the heater in water. Permanent Installation Steps (for Oil Pan): 1.Position the heater on a flat area of the oil pan, directly below one of the oil pan bolts. 2.Detach the oil pan gasket. Secure the heater in place using a piece of perforated metal strapping. 3.Move the heater away from the bolt. Tighten the bolt, making sure the heater is low enough to maximize heat transfer to the oil at the bottom of the pan. 4.Adjust the metal strap to align its hole with the hole on the top of the heater case. Fasten the metal strap to the heater with a bolt and locknut. NOTES: 1.The product does not contain installation instructions.
